We offer exam sessions that fall into any of the categories below:
- Fully Remote Testing: This is where you have 1 applicant with two video feeds in the same room and at least 3 accredited Volunteer Examiners monitoring remotely by video. This service is available to anyone who qualifies and meets our requirements.
- Hybrid In-Person Testing: This is where you have all applicants and a minimum of 1 accredited Volunteer Examiner in the same room, with at least 2 additional Volunteer Examiners in attendance monitoring remotely by video. You MUST be physically present in Alaska to receive this service.
- In-Person Testing: This is where you have all applicants and at least 3 accredited Volunteer Examiners in the same room. You MUST be physically present in Alaska to receive this service.
- Proctored Remote Testing: This is where you have 1 applicant in the same room as 1 vetted individual, with 3 accredited Volunteer Examiners monitoring remotely by video. You MUST be physically present in Alaska to receive this service.
Effective 02/23/2024, Last Frontier ARS is using the ARRL VEC for all license testing purposes.
We will administer examinations using any means of delivery possible. Through a working agreement with the ARRL VEC, we are permitted to use them as our corresponding Volunteer Examiner Coordinator in all aspects of license testing.
