About Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society
On November 8th, 2022 we started this club to fill a much needed void. That is to serve Alaska. Alaska remains our core focus and serving the diverse needs will always be our highest priority. We will not see it any other way. Many clubs in the Last Frontier have a generalized focus on their borough, city or village. Having that is a huge plus, however we are taking that concept one step further. The Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society will apply the mindset of local service to all Alaskans, regardless of physical location in the Great Land. Bridging the gap of providing numerous means to administer an examination will provide countless opportunities to be of service in the amateur radio community. We are Alaskans. We call Alaska home and it is our highest honor to serve in this capacity. Take a look at the video below to see what we are all about:
