Application to Serve as a Volunteer Examiner

Please complete all fields below.  This application will be carefully reviewed by the LFARS VE Program Chairman.  After careful review of your application, the Chairman will reach out to you via email to schedule a Zoom meeting that will also act as your formal interview for service.  LFARS is not an independent VEC; we currently use the ARRL VEC.

Note: In-person VE service is limited to Alaska-based sessions and generally requires Alaska residency per LFARS policy.

Important: LFARS requires current ARRL VEC accreditation prior to approval. If you are not accredited, please complete ARRL’s VE process first.

We require two references who can attest to your character and reliability. References must not be family members or active LFARS VEs, and should have known you for at least two years.

  • Copy of government-issued photo ID
