After careful review of your application, the Chairman will reach out to you via email to schedule a Zoom meeting that will also act as your formal interview for service. LFARS is not an independent VEC; we currently use the ARRL VEC.

Section 6: Program Eligibility Attestations

I attest that for remote VE service, I am a U.S. citizen and physically reside within the United States, its territories, or possessions. I attest that I have not been convicted within the prior ten (10) years of any crime punishable by imprisonment exceeding one year. I attest that I do not concurrently serve as a remote Volunteer Examiner for another organization while actively participating in the LFARS VE Program. I attest that I will uphold honesty, integrity, and exam security and will comply with FCC rules, ARRL VEC procedures, and LFARS VE Program policies.

Section 8: Acknowledgements & Certification

I will read the LFARS VE Handbook in full and follow all operating procedures. I acknowledge LFARS materials and exam procedures may be confidential/proprietary and I will not distribute protected materials. I acknowledge Alaska Time is the program’s official time reference for scheduling and VE operations. I acknowledge I must participate in at least four (4) remote exam sessions every 180 days to maintain active status (or comply with current LFARS policy).
