Membership Overview

At Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society, we welcome individuals who wish to support our mission and be a part of our vibrant community. Membership is open to all licensed amateur radio operators, with annual dues set at $30.00. Please note that we do not offer lifetime memberships at this time.

Benefits of Membership

As an active member of Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society, you will enjoy several valuable benefits:

a.)  Voting Rights:  All members are eligible to vote in the club’s elections, as outlined in our By-Laws.
b.)  Exclusive Access:  Receive our quarterly newsletter via email, keeping you informed about club activities and industry news.
c.)  License Upgrade Support:  Get early access to course materials to help you prepare for license upgrades.
d.)  Club Email Addresses:  For a one-time donation of $20.00, members can obtain a club-hosted email address, supporting our server maintenance and infrastructure costs.

As the club continues to grow, we will introduce more perks and benefits for our members. We believe these initial offerings are a great start to enhance your membership experience.

Membership Application

Welcome! We’re excited to have you join Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society (LFARS). To apply for membership, please complete the form below. Applications are reviewed quarterly by our Governing Board during their regular meetings.

Once your membership is approved, you will receive an invoice for the annual dues of $30.00. Membership renews each October, and you will receive reminder emails approximately 60 days before your renewal date. If you choose not to renew, simply inform our club secretary, and we will handle the process for you.

In addition to the benefits outlined above, membership provides eligibility for special discounts on club apparel and other items. To begin the membership process, please ensure that your application is approved by the Board.

All financial support given during your tenure as a member is non-refundable, should membership be terminated. Items of discussion that are brought up in general conversation or club meetings is to be kept confidential within club membership only. Provided club equipment is purchased or procured, use of said equipment is permitted, however any damage to equipment shall be covered exclusively by the user who caused the damage. Use of any club repeater(s) is permitted, however amateur radio courtesy shall prevail while using a repeater. I have read and understand the Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society, Inc. By-Laws; to further acknowledge my agreement to the purpose and policies set forth in the document. I understand my application is not guaranteed to be approved upon submitting to the Last Frontier Amateur Radio Society, Inc. Governing Board.
